If RCA takes one thing from this era, it's that they shouldn't waste promo on Kelly's songs before they have considerable radio support. It does nothing for her. Even Stronger couldn't chart high after both an X-Factor performance and an early music video release, all because the song had no radio support yet.

Agreed. I will maintain forever that RCA waited much too long to release Dark Side to radio. They should have released it the week before the BMA's or the day after (like Wide Awake) at the VERY latest. The BMA's was COMPLETELY useless and did absolutely nothing for her or the song. ****ing wasted opportunity that I will NEVER understand. I'm still pissed about it, obviously. I'm not ready too. RCA needs to start filming the video for IFY and start to send it in airplay around July and let DS die (). It's only the album's saving grace left.
TBH if Dark Side flops, I think RCA should just close this era and focus on putting out a new album before the end of the year. With her new rising celebrity and status a fresh batch of amazing music would really be the best thing for her.
