I really hope that they don't just compare it to The Blueprint and also touch upon the cultural and musical changes that have occurred in the last 13 years and how the music landscape has morphed into something different, something better imo.
The difference is that nowadays a good female rap album (as well as male rap album) is more than just a rap album... There is a mixture of influences from a number of genres (whether it be pop, edm, trap, dancehall, etc.) and experiences which is why I'm glad that this album is the one getting the "The Pinkprint" label instead of a strictly rap/hip-hop album... That's so deceiving considering not one damn female rapper has put out an album this decade on a mainstream level that is strictly rap and succeeded.
