Those sales wouldn't count then. It has to be priced above $3.49, I believe, for it to count towards the chart.

There's no way they'll discount it though. I still don't think 21 has ever been discounted except for about 1 time.

I really hope the intention behind the new album was to create another classic. Because if I have to wait years and years between albums, then she better at least deliver something that never gets old.

it would probably break the all time record for first sales for an album in the US (4 million.)

I heard about that awhile ago but I don't think it "technically" counts because of the Soundscan tracking thing not being around.

N'Sync still hold the "official" title.

Don't make it too difficult for Adele to snatch another record.

Honestly, I don't think she'd do it again because she'll be busy promoting her album by the time the next Bond film is out. It's due out in the fall of 2015, and if she's releasing her album at the end of this year or in January of next year, she'll probably still be promoting it, so... I don't know. I want her to do it but I don't see it happening. I just hope they get a good replacement that can carry on Adele's legacy. I want someone like Paloma Faith or Emeli Sandé to do it, personally.
