Actually, I was thinking about Judas a lot last night, and I realized Judas is to blame for EVERYTHING. It completely started the downward trajectory of her career. Imagine if TEOG had been the second single originally, instead of a rushed coverup for Judas? It could've gone #1 I bet. It would've probably gotten a better video. It would've done better on radio. Gaga wouldn't have been seen as aping Madonna's religious iconography + being blasphemous. The BTW era as a whole would've been so much better without Judas, which would've left Gaga in better standing for ARTPOP.

And let's not forget how much some people are complaining about the "messy lyrics" on ARTPOP (I don't have a problem with most of them, but whatever)... hmmm, I wonder what inspired Gaga to write messy lyrics? Perhaps her fans' constant praise (and we know damn well she lets fans influence her choices) for Judas, which features the lyrical genius of "ear condom" and generally harsh lyrics.

Judas is the best song on BTW. You wont come for it like that. BTW era was terrible because of Gaga. Her image ruined everything. She was everywhere with 'oh please be gay, god loves you, you were born that way, you will go in heaven because you are gay'. People dont like Gaga because the name Gaga screams gay. She alieanted her casual listeneres with that damn album. Yeah she was supporting the gays in 2009 and 2010 but her music wasnt affected by them. When she took herself way too seriously thinking she was mother theresa or jesus that was the moment when everything went wrong. Her looks in 2011, the disgusting You and I video, and the absolutely terrible marry the night video. After 2011 liking Gaga has become.... um.. lets say embarrassing. She and only she is the reason why she is struggling to sell more than 260k with ARTPOP.

Gypsy is my least played. Think I've played it like 10x, I don't even hate it, but it just isn't powerful to me (yet). Still think it would be the perfect 3rd single

I actually agree with most of what you're saying. I just happen to think Judas is a big example of that. It has always sounded like a subpar parody of Bad Romance to me, and reeks of Gaga buying into her own hype and thinking she can put out any messy song



I feel like so much is riding on this AMAs performance tomorrow night + the DWUW video hopefully coming out within the week Like is she gonna get back on track? Or dive further into her own disaster?
