| #9 - "As You Are" by Kimbra
I won't love another you.
This soft, simple piano ballad sees Kimbra coming to
the realisation that the one she loves is not who she thinks
she is, and that it is time for them to part. In between all
the experimentation on the album, it's nice to have
something a little more simple.
This song is beautiful. I genuinely cannot fault it in any
way. Judging from its nine 10s, two 9s, and three 8s,
many of you thought the same.
The last song to have an average below 8, at one point,
it genuinely seemed like "As You Are" was going to win.
It was in 2nd place until about a week before the deadline,
and the song in first place had a small lead over it that
was shrinking with each set of scores. Next thing I know,
it's at #9.
