A few months ago I may have though I'd host one day, but remember that I'm starting grad school in the fall (yes, I'm old

) and I can't imagine I'll have time to host this while I'm in school. I think judging will be fine since it just means I gotta log on Fri/Sat and give my critiques, but hosting takes more responsibility than that. I think you should host again and I'll be a judge

I feel like the judges now use a 5-10 scale instead of a full 1-10 scale, and I would have no issue giving out 1-4 for below average songs, 5 for average songs, and 6-10 for the good/great ones.

As for the second part, that why when I hosted I used the rankings against your peers instead of having a score out of 10, but the out-of-10 scoring has worked pretty well this season and has been more representative of how everyone does as a whole so I don't know. I doubt we'd switch back though at this point.

dd and tbh I think I would do better at hosting rather than judging imo cause I have a lot of decent, innovative concepts for rounds and stuff. As a judge, I would be soooo messy but fair and constructive. I'm definitely trying out as a contestant in PH 6 though, once again.

Oh, in definitely not afraid to tell people if they suck. I'm not the type of person that would give a 5 to be nice. I'm still in high school and I'm taking super easy classes so I'll have way too much time on my hands

And yes I read your Euphoressay but I ignored some of it since you were like, "I spend too much time on ATRL wah wah wah I love PH" and I was getting mixed messages so like, of course you spend too much time on here--we all do. Just embrace it (like the D) and host again. There's no rule that it HAS to be a new host.

I thought it was a nice tradition to have a different person host every time (otherwise I would've tried to host this season!) but... it will just take some extra willpower not to waste as much time on here. Is there anyway the mods could like unban only certain threads for you? I know you can thread ban but I've never heard of the opposite.

My main problem is I only have 1 instrumental I can find a convincing melody in, and its outside of my usual genre/style. Its my best bet though. The "indie" and "rock" ones aren't giving my anything inspiring at the moment
