They did not need to perform their biggest hit. No one else does at the VMAs. They could has performed One Thing and gotten it to Platinum or so. WMYB is still doing amazing on it's own.
They could have had another Top 20 hit over here. It already rose 30 spots on iTunes just from the Commercials. All it needed was a promo spot to Smash.

I understand but it's kind of pointless to promote that song more now, since they are moving on to a new album. I think they will do better promo here with the next album, they may not have thought they were going to blow up that fast here.
