Gurl "Lotus" is boring and basically "Bionic 2.0", and nothing new really.

At least "Hold it against me" and some of the sounds of "Femme Fatale" were something fresh for mainstream pop music at the moment.


And sorry but I doubt "Lotus" achieved anything "Femme Fatale" achieved.

Lotus is amazing and I'll probably end up buying it but I don't know if I'd say it's better than FF.

I DO like it better now (and it gets better with each listen) but it's still SO new.

I say it will be discounted two weeks from now, so you could get it by Thanksgiving week for a fair price.

This is normal, its the same that happens to several albums when they are just released, people are just impressed and start to praise it but just wait for 2 months or something and see if your opinion will be the same .... an album is officialy good when it survives the test of time, some albums just remain fresh and good and some others just burn out quickly

I know exactly how it was ... I wasn't here, but I was on another forum .... and everyone was like "Femme Fatale" is a "masterpiece" is her best album of her career during the first week of release....


actually that same thing has happened to me twice in a row ... the first time I listened to "Circus" I also thought It was her best album of her career .... then it happened again with "Femme Fatale"
