She has a chance to win Arizona, Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri. Texas and Kansas are closer than usual. His Utah votes may be suppressed. If Obama won by 8 points, I don't see why Hillary can't match or beat that when states are closer than usual. Unless he overperforms in places like Ohio....

It's not impossible. As I've said, I don't believe Trump will turn out as many people as polls suggest allowing for a bigger gap even if Hillary doesn't have a big win as well.

Remember how Hillary and Bernie were neck and neck in match-up polls the whole primary but she came out with a big margin win. Yeah it's going to be a repeat.

She doesn't need Obama turnout, just 90% or so of it. And I love how the CNN poll is Trumpkins gold standard now.

And because of his popularity (especially among minorities) he will get people to come out for her. Not like she needs it, her unpopular ass brings people to the poll even if they don't come to her rallies. Numbers don't lie

Most bad polling analysis stems from people's desire to take the most recent/most hyped poll as the gospel truth, instead of averaging data.

These polls are all over the place and increasingly volatile, so I've started to put less stock in them. How can Trump be ahead by 2, yet a dead heat in Texas? Third parties? More white/less minority votes? I'm just going to ignore them till I see some consistency.

Their credibility won't be ruined by an early September poll. In late October they will focus on accuracy.

National polls are close, but the most recent polls in North Carolina, Virginia, Colorado, and NH have her up which means she won the presidency.

So they can use this CNN poll all they want. Doesn't change the facts.

Basically. Until we see consistent polling showing Trump winning battlegrounds, the race has not fundamentally changed. Right now the only traditional battleground he's leading is Iowa.

That doesn't get clicks though.

I want Hillary to eviscerate Trump. I want her to win every single swing state. I'm so pressed with these numbers. He's closer than I thought he would be but I do expect her to gain in the coming weeks. She needs to keep the pressure on.
