If, according to you this is such a flop and will sell nothing and have no airplay (I disagree but we'll see), then how will that affect her era, if nobody has heard it or purchased it? In that scenario, barely anyone would even know it exists. Your logic doesn't make much sense.

Rude/Ignorant would be a better way to describe what you have just said. The UK market is the second largest Western market, and the charts here are far more diverse than the US ones. rick Ashley is a one hit wonder here btw, and IIRC that song was also number one in America. We all know that the US market is the most important, but to brush aside the others as irrelevant is just ridiculous. Plenty of Artists have very successful careers without ever releasing in the US.

Album sales in the UK are way stronger than US sales on a per capita basis, but as far as I know the Singles market is slightly weaker. Sales here are certainly more front-loaded, but generally they drop off at a much faster pace, and often do not have great longevity.

And yes. If it falls out the Top 10, the less exposed it is and the more it will fall. The initial hype of the song is over. That ended when it hit #4 and began to fall. She has no video or performance/promo in the next week or so, therefore it's going to see a free fall. It's not exaggeration, it's common sense. You wouldn't know anything though, because you only come to attack people instead of actually talk about the topic at hand.

Well yes when it moves to 11 it is no longer on the "top ten songs" on the front page of iTunes so that will make it lose sales even faster. He's right.
