A little bit of both. Your theme, like I said, I thought it was nice and different. However, the songs were boring imo. I mean honestly there was just too much going on with your entry, that's what you should be worried about. Everything felt scattered, and the songs did not make me like it anymore. And when judging the songs, I judged based on how I felt the songs felt the theme. Both sonically and lyrically. Like for example- the Yellow team picked Teenage Dream. I hate Katy, but that song is definitely light and airy. It fit, it worked well. Your songs just didn't feel like they fit. Not my cup of tea!! But we're all entitled to our different opinions. This is just a bump in the road and I know you'll do better.

nnnn I feel like "the songs were boring" kind of makes sense based on this
description of the element we followed: "The Element of Earth is a heavy, passive element and is contrary to air. It is associated with the qualities of darkness, thickness and quietness."
But I understand what you mean re: scattered/too much going on. I stand by the song choices being good matches for the qualities of the element, but I do think we had a lot going on. But I don't imagine that we'll have a lot of future challenges that limit the type of songs we can use, so it's all good
Thanks for explaining!
