They won't care about Infinite. Just look at how they are treating f(x). it is obvious that EXO is their priority now and it will probably remain that way for a while.
What SM is doing is acquiring Woollim so they can use their share of Woollim's profits to finance their main groups. They aren't going to try to strongly advertise SM groups and invest in them but instead will probably use them as warm-up acts. I really wish Infinite will not be placed in the backseat but it seems like they will be.
SM is only the distributor for Woollim, they won't have anything to do with managing Infinite or their music. The only thing I imagine might change is less comebacks if SM insists on not having them come out against their artists, but that's something we'll have to wait and see.
