Keep in mind guys that the Body Party music video CANNOT be nominated for the BET Awards simply because it was released past the eligibility period.
Ciara might have a chance at the following categories:
Best Female R&B Artist
FANdemonium Award
Viewers' Choice
However, chances are Ciara will not be because Sorry and Got Me Good, will not be appearing on the album, and neither singles charted on the Hot 100.
So that limits her to the Best Female R&B Artist and FANdemonium Award. BET tends to be shady toward Ciara so chances she might not even get a nomination at all.
I just hope she performs either way.
Being nominated is the last of her issues, because she wouldn't be taking home the award anyway. She just needs to book that stage, look good on the red caroet and keep it moving.

Of course being nominated is important. It shows you're relevant. You can act like it isn't but it is.
However in Ciara's case, there's reasonable explanation for her not be nominated, but had the Body Party been released before the deadline, then yes, we should be worried if she would be nominated.
I'm satisfied with her performing at the BET Awards, but for her to be nominated for one award, would be even better.

If they make a pop remix to it (there's already some) and send it to radio, they probably would. I've been hearing Pour It Up with a dance beat on pop stations lately and I think that could work for this.

This would perfect. Just make the BET Awards performance a duo. Either start it with the next single (which I'm guessing is Pop/Crossover and Feat. Nicki), and then end it with "Body Party" or vise versa. I'm actually surprised she hasn't lined up a performance at the Billboard Awards.
