My expectations were so high based on all the online/fan theories that even though I enjoyed the film I couldn't help but be let down. Even the friends I saw it with who are casual star wars fans were like "thats it"?
I'm guessing its getting so much praise from the super fans because its a new star wars film that feels like the originals.
Don't get me wrong, I liked and will see it again soon.

I saw it today and I loved it, I really liked the new characters and it was great to see the old ones back. Storyline was good with lots of open questions and things to be followed up in the next movies.
I definitely wanna see it again. Is it worth seeing it in 3D?

I've seen 3D and 2D and I enjoyed the 3D screening more which is rare for me.

Sounds good, I usually prefer 2D as well but I thought for Star Wars 3D might be worth it, especially for the fight scenes. Plus that way I get to see it again

I saw the film again last night and my friends who saw it for the first time all loved it. Gonna try seeing it in real IMAX sometime in the next few weeks.
Neo spent the first hour and a half of The Matrix getting chased and beat up. He was trying to learn to be the "one". And we connected to him when he finally became the one. Katniss was a hunter all her life, committed mistakes here and there. Imperator Furiosa was a veteran soldier who rose to tanks until she was the driver of the war rig, but she had lots of help from Max, Nux, and the girls. We also saw her get defeated by Max in a one-on-one hand combat.
my mom said she didn't like the movie because they casted a black actor as a main character. It's sad people think like this.
I thought he was a great character
I think the whole beginning of the movie was a complete bore and a waste of a story line that doesn't go anywhere.
I could care less for Finn's story because it doesn't go anywhere.
When I watch a movie, sometimes I skip the beginning of the movie if I find to be boring and I have no doubt that I will skip the beginning of this movie too when it comes out on DVD.
