People, quit crying, the ban has been reduced to a week. I did overreact; other mods in the past have perma-banned people for ridiculous reasons (favorite artist, grammar, intelligence) and never thought twice about unbanning them. In fact I would always unban those people Gerry or Kworb would ban after a few months passed.
