I didn't find it scary. It basically consists of a bunch of close up shots of people freaking out, random shots of things hanging from trees...

The filmmakers do get credit for making something new and different, but I wasn't overly impressed with it.

I also didn't like Paranormal Activity either.

Take in mind that we are desensitized to old films.

Back in the day, when Internet didn't existed in daily life, the movie was scary because people thought the stuff in the film was real.

The next part isn't related to the Beginning. Its being treated as a direct sequel to the original. It even includes some of the original cast.

Yes, it was real. That whole dinner scene was filmed over 27 hours non-stop too.

It was done because the director was getting impatient and needed the shot apparently

I dont know if this movie was posted already but I just saw Sorority Row. I really liked it.
Its a remake of the 1983 slasher film "The House on Sorority Row".
You guys really should see it.

The trailer seems a bit bland but the movie is much better.
