I have to say "You're Mine" really grew on me. I love the ambient feeling of the production, how it's sort of echoey and fluffy, almost like you're in a dream-like state when you're hearing it.
I heard this song for the first time on the radio yesterday and couldn't help but imagine Mariah's dramatic vocals on the chrous: So am I wrong for thinking that we could be something for real?
I don't really like that song and the production sounds really dated to me buT I think Mariah could pull off that kind of uptempo song. So please don't get me wrong and think I would her to sing this but since she's not going to serve us another Fantasy or Heartbreaker smash I could at least imagine her to that kind of dramatic uptempo song.
I would really want her to work with Blood Orange if only for one freaking song. He'd provide her a really fresh sound and together they'd be magical. I can totally imagine her vocals on his song "Time Will Tell" with a slightly different production.
I know I posted the latter one time before but since nobody responded to me ... so I ask you now, whom would you want her to work with?
