To answer jkobe...yes a rerelease counts towards sales.
Because it was so popular in the 2000s I believe there was a 3 song requirement for a rerelease...anything more would need to be a part of an ep.
I.said this for so long...
I.figure she would do a rerelease. I don't want an ep but I think they will pull a Kesha.
Her pop singles (mm, vvv, will remain unbothered) while her new songs.will most likely be urban...as much as I wanted champion to close and mm and vvv to be multiformat they might just keep those pop songs as pop and rhythmic and the new release songs urban and rhythmic.
I really don't want an ep to break her #1 streak. At least a rerelease will get the album past the 1m sooner and at 1.3m (us) and 3m ww by the end of the era.
Will she get flack...yes
Will the smart barbz clock gurls when 90% of the mainstream artist have used rereleases (I.e. Mary j., beyonce, Katy, rihanna, Jessica Simpson, 50 cent, mariah, jlo, t swift, usher etc.) minus Britney and eminem

the best selling artist of the 21st century.
