I don't understand how people say she has been making the same material since IND. Funhouse is COMPLETELY different to IND imo, and the only close to generic song on Funhouse is So What which is still a great song.
RYG and FP are generic for sure, I can understand thaT.

Most of TTAL yes, so thats basically 1 album and 2 singles (maybe 3) that is in ATRL's books 'generic'. Some people really need to stop listening to the singles, its tragic.

That can be said for anyone. Like any of them faves (Gags, Brit, Bey, Katy etc...) are groundbreaking and risky. I won't bother with them ugly and boring faves, but they're all using same formulas, similar beats, same producers, SAME song themes and lyrics, catchy hooks that are exactly the same. It's pop music, for God's sake. Not some indie alternative Pitchfork's favorite crap worshiped by hipsters. The comlete NONSENSE! They just need something to drag,so it's either man jokes, irrelevancy jokes or same music ********.

I was just comparing pop girls' most recent album runs on the Dutch charts and no one comes close to The Truth About Love. It was still top 5 when the other albums had either fallen out of the top 40 or fallen out of the charts completely (except for Unapologetic which was still like #25).

I looove funhouse! Its my third favorite pink record and one of my faves overall. but u r right... after that one it just got way too stale. idk when i think of pink i think of "music is freedom" and how u shouldnt pigeonhole people. its always fun when u r proven wrong and sth unexpected happens. and i need that back. people now know her as thr pop rock chick... i need her to prove them wrong again at some point.

But its true: yeah pink has been a lazy musically for a couple of years now, but she still likes to change it up every now and then. sth the other pop girls cant seem to do.

I asked him and he directed me to an online dictionary. He must be high or something.

It either means Katy would need to tour Oz for years to match P!nk's tour there (which is not a compliment to Katy) or he thinks P!nk toured there for more than a year to have that gross which is just ignorant and hilarious.
