Mother: Most upbeat hits, especially Music, and many ballads. She loves M ha emotive Ghosttown/WAOM/middle-arc-of-American-Life voice. Also most of Hard Candy (GI2M is her absolute favorite from that) and Rebel Heart. And as many of you already know, Take A Day is her favorite song of all time. Sorry.

My mom will get down to the earlier songs, and I know she had a cassette single of Ray Of Light - as well as The Immaculate Collection - but she thinks Madonna has "fallen off" - and her opinion of Madonna's state of dress or undress depends on what Wendy Williams said earlier in the day.
My dad is deaf but would probably have nothing to do with her even if he could hear her musical manna.
His sister (my aunt) worked at Soldier Field when Madonna did Who's That Girl here in 1987 and she took some great photos, which she mailed to me last year. I'll upload them and share here at some point.
Also, I woke up circa 3am this morning and while I was trying to go to sleep, my mind wandered to Silence of the Lambs, and how in the end he's "having an old friend for dinner." And he follows this guy into the distance and in my mentally vulnerable state having just woken up in the middle of the night, I was like, "what if that happens to me one day? Someone stalks me just to kidnap and eat me?"
