I love her Elle shoots. Although I will never forget reading the NY Post a few years back and the editor threw shade at her.

Kelly Clarkson: A Pop Star Survives
Kelly Clarkson burst onto the pop scene in 2002 when she became the first winner of American Idol. She went on to win Grammys, break records on the charts and earn the affection of critics — one dubbed her "the best voice in the history of pop music."
But unlike many of her contemporaries, Clarkson has seemed to retain her authenticity. You can trace that back to early 2000 when, on the strength of her voice, Clarkson was offered a record deal. She was unknown at the time, just 18 years old, and had moved to Los Angeles from Texas to pursue her dream. And yet, when that deal came around, she turned it down on principle.
"I literally weighed 124 pounds. I'm 5'3" and a half — don't forget that half. And they told me that if I lost 20 pounds, that they would sign me. And I was like, 'Wow,'" Clarkson says. "I'd had an eating disorder in high school for a bit. I think God kind of put me through that to make me stronger for when situations like that come up."
Weekends on All Things Considered host Guy Raz speaks with Clarkson about her industry struggles, the news this week that she'd endorsed Ron Paul for president and her new album, Stronger.

I knew Kelly owned guns, I didn't know how to react and then I thought: It's Texas, everyone has a gun LOL
Anyway, some people are still close minded saying "I'm no longer a fan" because of what she said about Ron Paul, and they're comparing the situation to the Dixie Chicks:
Here's the difference: WE REMAIN LOYAL!
And judging by the great numbers the MKIA has been getting (steady numbers) and the numbers the WDKY has even though it hasn't been added to radio YET, just tells me the KC army has the last laugh

IDK why but remember the supossed setlist leaked a moths ago doesn't include IFY and when the people choose that song on Boaderline, the band didn't know how to sing it.... this is a sign?

flawless interview
I love the fact that the new RCA team is doing all their best to put Kelly's name up there again. I feel sorry for the artists who are poorly promoted under the new management.

WDKY is 57 and MKIA is 40 on Itunes. Cannot wait to see how SNL affects the numbers.

I've never heard her talk about having an eating disorder before, this just makes it even more horrible how everyone comments on her weight all the time. I feel like she gets so much **** from the public, much more than any other popstar. Yet she is probably the most lively and bubbly popstar around, that really speaks volumes for her character.
Love her laughing at the sales boost!
