I don't think it's too much to rerelease and give a lil' more promo for AAY. They can spend January as the last month for AAY's promo. Then release single #3 in Feb and the album afterwards. I still think AAY needs extra promo because it's a critic favourite & it's fresh & upbeat.

The problem is that it would be a waste of time and money. What on earth would they gain by promoting a single that was basically left for dead from the start, for
one month, and then moving on?
As previously established, the major problem is getting radio to hop on the comeback wagon and start taking H seriously. If you look at the chart trajectories of fellow pop girls like Gwen Stefani, Nick Jonas, and Fergie, their singles actually debuted on iTunes LOWER than H's singles did (#20 and #33) but managed to perform better due to either an impressive promo plan (Nicholas' case) or major promotional appearances (Gwen and Fergie's cases) and radio support. Hilary has to work on getting radio support by effectively pushing a single completely at radio. She needs to pay her dues by physically going to radio stations to play the track and even performing for programmers to see that she is taking this comeback seriously. She also needs to be more visible to the public eye. She needs to attend many more events, whether or not she really has a purpose for being there.
AAY was great, but it's time to move on. There is no use in beating a dead horse, no matter how much initial potential that dead horse had. Getting radio on her side and effectively promoting a single isn't going to take a few weeks, they need to strategize and she needs to really work for a good few months.
