Hmm you know what, I think we're all just OVERTHINKING. She wants to focus on Younger now and by the time filming's done, she'll get back to promoting music. I think her REAL comeback will be next year when Younger's on TV and her music (hopefully) gets the proper promo it deserves.

None of it is likely to happen, but still... A guy can dream right? Surely nearly a month off between Younger ending production on season one and the PCA's is enough time for her to relax.

The thing is - she INITIALLY had dates set for Younger. Why did she think she could do both before and now all of a sudden it was too much?

If they gave her more scenes, I highly doubt it was Hilary's doing. It would be unprofessional to ask to be in more scenes. As for your last question, I've been wondering the same thing.

I think it's pretty obvious now that Hilary herself does not want to promote right now. Andre could pitch her all the dates he wanted, she would find reasons to cancel or not book them. The parade being booked at the same time as Younger was his fault though.

Darren fought (Hilary's words) for her to be on the show, I don't think there would have been an issue if she said something to the nature of "I'm putting music on the backburner for now to focus on Younger" and hinted at her availability opening up if they needed her.

I was watching some of the parade, wondering what float she would have been on

Here's what I think: I think Kelsey's role was always going to be expanded from the point of the pilot because Hilary is the star that gets second billing on the show. Kelsey is Liza's key into the "younger" world and I think that it's only natural that Liza would be spending most of her time with Kelsey so she can keep the lie going that she is younger. I think Hilary thought she could juggle filming the TV show and promoting her music whenever she has down time. But, clearly now she cannot because it would just be too much.

Right, I think the person who watched the pilot said that Hilary only had about 10-15 minutes of screen time, which is quite reasonable considering that Sutton's back story has to be set up.

Well she is following in Hil's footsteps...

Seeing that Hil is so busy with Younger, the show, her role and its broadcasting better SLAY. At leats it'll make up for us not getting much music promo.
