It IS better than BEYONCÉ. No question.
This project has so much weight to it. I can't even judge any of it because it's literally an album made about healing and everyone heals in their own way. This is Beyoncé offering one such a way.
You can prefer a song sonically of course, like you can prefer Partition over Sorry, but as a whole, this album flows much better musically, it's more cohesive. BEYONCÉ was a step up from 4 to me because 4 kinda felt a little messy and with both BEYONCÉ and 4 I felt like she still wasn't quite ready to let go of that Matthew way of thinking, cause she included songs like Best Thing I Never Had and Pretty Hurts. But with this... I honestly can't even see any of these becoming hits, she's so over it. The songs don't belong on the radio.
Thematically its so much more complex, plus it actually delivers on a conclusion, which BEYONCÉ had as well, but Blue didn't feel as final and inclusive as Freedom and All Night.
