I really do like every song, and I do see your points for each. I feel like Gypsy is really..random but I like your explanation for it. It kinda doesn't fit well, but then again it does?

Firstly, love "Fire Under My Feet" and "Wildfire". Hate "Gypsy" though. That being said, I liked your idea here. The only thing I would say is that "Fire Under My Feet" and "Wildfire", while the better songs, may have been a little bit predictable because of how they have "fire" in the titles. That being said, it doesn't hinder your entry massively.

I think you could have done a lot more with this trinity. If you wanted a pure sex song, Wildfire is not the right choice as it speaks about other choices too. Fire doesn't inspire me freedom also. However, I think you chose the songs mostly based on their melodic structure, not on their lyrics. I'm not saying it's a bad trinity, but more could have been done here.

yess, what I get from water is light, airy, free songs. Each song displays that well. From the productions to the lyrics. I'm so glad you guys decided to showcase that. You guys really pulled this off. I'm impressed.

Wow, an entry where I love all of these songs. I love the three angles here and there's not really anything I can criticise. Bravo.

Other than the fact that I might have placed the songs a bit differently (I don't know if I would have put "fountain" there, I just don't think it fits right in the middle, but that's more of a personal opinion), it works amazingly. Maybe you had an easier element too, but you found just the right songs to show the different meanings "water" can have.

Hm, i'm not sure how I feel. I mean i'll give you credit seeing as this was probably the hardest theme to build songs around, but I do feel as if it could have been better? The songs didn't impress me. I do like the whole building on Earth and how humans interact with it, I think that was unique. but, i don't know. That's it. This was statistically the most well rounded team, and yet yall didn't impress me.

Another entry where I love at least two of the songs. Poor Hozier, though. [Hozier is a god and you are trash, Connor.] In regards to your concept, I love how you thought outside the box, and you didn't just try and find songs with flowers in the title or something. I also love that you created a whole narrative here, and didn't just generalise.

Hm, the songs that you have chosen were not bad, but I don't think that your trinity is cohesive at all. I like your interpretations and explanations, but I think it was a bit too much with "Got 'Til It's Gone", you could have found something else. You just basically made it seem related to "earth" when it isn't necessarily.

I like it! You guys hit the mark with this one. Each song greatly represents air as an element while incorporating songs that have a nice airy feel to them. The music speaks for itself with this one. I'm impressed.

I mean, it's not bad, it's just not blowing me away. (Pardon the pun.) "Blown Away" is a tad obvious, and while I love "Stimela" and "Teenage Dream", your explanations felt a bit like they were clutching at straws. The other teams all had concepts that were at least somewhat realised, but it just seems like you decided amongst yourselves to just find a song each and then figure it out later.

Not bad, but in my opinion, Teenage Dream has nothing to do here. It doesn't make me think more of the air blowing in my face than any other song. Other than that, it's a pretty good entry.
Results coming soon. I still need to type them up.
You just basically made it seem related to "earth" when it isn't necessarily.
I assume you're talking about the damaging the earth thing, but that is in reference to the chorus, which is a sample of the Joni Mitchell song "Big Yellow Taxi," which is about using pesticides and cutting down trees. We just made a one-line nod to the original song assuming y'all might know it, but I guess not?
Jesus Christ, this round. It was really, really close. Everyone on the first line got first place, everyone on the second line got second place, etc. in case you're wondering.
Onto the business at hand. Congratulations to Kitt, Kyle. and wesleywalrus, aka the Blue Team, for making the Golden Trinity. You had the one entry that all the judges agreed on. You three will PM and confer about which two members of the Flop Trinity to eliminate and which member to save. I would like your decision within 24 hours, otherwise the two with the lowest game averages will be eliminated.
To everyone outside of the Flop Trinity, congratulations! You have made it to Round 6 and Phase II! Exciting things are to come, so be excited because it's exciting.
