No, they're not... When adding "Bang Bang", Ariana is still 1 MILLION short. Now, if we're being fair, 5 singles against 4 is not right, so let's add "Marving Gaye" (1,1M) to Meghan's sales, so it increases her lead by over 2M...

I actually think No is doing better than I expected. I expected it to rise with AirPlay and streams

Denmark and Norway don't use Ö. Don't think there is a reason behind it for Meghan. It just looks cool. Don't know who else uses it.

Bigger sales are still high standards, specially in this sales climate, which makes the feat more impressive.

Hmm did we forget Hello video and it breaking 100M streams on Spotify in like 2 weeks?
Meghan's sales are more impressive cause she does average on Spotify, other examples are Rachel Platten, Kelly Clarkson etc.
For example, Break Free is bigger than Lips Are Movin despite having sold less imo.

Digital track sales being down 25.8% is only a slight difference from the 27% decrease that was reported around a month ago. I don't think that sales will bounce back very much, and I predict that we'll finish the year down at least 20%.

It's down 25.8%. The 24.3% is including albums and single sales.
And I think the year will finish around 25% down still. Sales will theoretically continue to worsen, and if Bieber/Rihanna/Zayn/etc are struggling 2M with #1 hits then I don't see Katy/Gaga/Beyonce/Bruno/ other artists releasing singles doing any better. Like they might get 3M, but even then that's not much better. Hello was an atypical rare case exception like 25 obviously with sales.

I didn't expect 5H to be #5. It's You bombed Wonder what that could mean for his album.
Never Forget You is doing great already.

I noticed that and corrected my post. I just made my prediction 20% or worse to give myself some leeway. I agree that they will actually finish down ~25%. Sales declined 12.5% in 2015, so this would be a decline twice as large as last year's.
