I just heard like a 20 second clip of Kelly being interviewed on Z100 during the Elvis and the morning show. Pretty sure it was a old interview since she was talking about red hair or something.

Remember that Kelly often gets inspired by real life - when she heard the line she used in Sober or when her butt hacked into her Twitter account and wrote "Wrapped In Red".

Yeah, I was thinking about "Rose" too but the thing is that I can't think of a metaphor a something connected to the word "Rose". I don't know how to explain it but the word doesn't represent any shades of anything. It's just the flower. With "River" means to me something mysterious, powerful, it represents some story. You know, a river begins as a small stream, during it's journey to the ocean it flows through different places, there are the contributory streams which influence it etc. Wow, the more I think about it, the more I want the album to be called River.

This is what I mean with the story a river represents:



I know it's a really long composition but it's perfect to illustrate my thoughts. "Vltava" is a Czech river and this composition tells her story - it begins as a little stream, as it flows through the country it goes around a forest, a wedding, night dance of fairies, old and proud castles and finally it joins another river. It shows it's softer and powerful sides, just like Kelly's music shows Kelly's ones.
