It was amazing, a masterclass in staging, choreography, and live spectacle. The first two minutes with the roman soldiers and "Vogue" destroys every other Halftime show (including Bruce's).
beyonce and katy both had what the other lacked: beyonce lacked great crowd pleasers (or didn't play up to her best) and katy didn't have stage presence.
madonna's had some good parts but overall the setlist wasn't as good as it could have been. like, putting lmfao on music, spending too much time on gmayl.
a tour you have months to prepare and days to set up
you get 15 minutes to set up a superbowl show

She had months to make a better setlist though and not include the hideous GMAYL with the hideous guests that it came and LMAFO and Cee Lo Green where extremely unnecesary too, she's Madonna, she coulve had everyone instead of those tacky people.
I was hoping for the final part in his 'oppressed people kill their oppressors' trilogy (gays kill straights? like a group of gay men who arm themselves against police in the 60s? could have been more interesting than this).
