Well... As you said, regardless of whether or not she was directly referring to new music, if we're seeing her later in the year it definitely means we're getting something. The fact that she Tweeted something like that gives me a lot of hope that we're getting something this year, though. No one is stupid enough to post something like that and not expect people to think it's referring to new music. Plus, don't you think it's a little odd that she'd randomly say "see you again later in the year" if the "Bye bye 25" part was not referring to new music? That Tweet could ONLY be referring to a new album, or at least the start of a new era, so... We're getting new music this year. I'm 100% positive.

I have to say that there seems to be quite a lot of hype going on now. The view trends on her YouTube videos are going up and her sales are increasing a bit.

Anyway, it's August already and we still have no news!!

As I was riding with my older sister in her car, a new song neither of us recognized started playing and I jokingly told her that it was the new Adele song. She nearly screamed when she gasped, it kinda scared me.

Anyways, my sister generally doesn't care about radio music or any artists for that matter, but the way she acted towards what I said is making me think that Adele is well remembered and that the GP will absolutely devour whatever Adele releases

I think a BEYONCÉ type release, but with promo for the singles, would be an excellent idea for her. If the GP dislikes the first single, Adele's 1st week sales may not become as flawless as we hope for.

US label's already denied a BEYONCÉ is coming, though. Plus it completely screws her longevity-wise (regardless of single promotion), just because the initial hype of the album drop can never be matched again. If she's surprise dropping anything, I'd say only the lead single, then go as traditional as possible for the rest of the era. She went traditional with 21 and it's still hovering around 100 in the US after 3.5 years. There's certainly nothing wrong with being "boring" in your release style if it keeps the album around for that amount of time. This album already has enough hype anyway.
