I've been thinking, with all the depressing stuff Gaga's been through lately, imagine if she scraps the bright/fun/dancey feel of ARTPOP for a dark more TFM/that dark half of BTW tinged album.
It makes sense when you think you're feeling down and have to record all that 'fun' upbeat music that ARTPOP's been described as.

But I do think ARTPOP will be accompanied by an EP down the line because she has written so much material and will probably keep doing so that will be more serious/dark

True. I remember the Volume thing and all that recording over these two years - she must have like hundreds or even more new songs.
We didn't get much unreleased material from the BTW sessions, so hopefully we get the full bonanza.

But she was looking to release 2 volumes this time around, in my mind that means she has much more material than before and with her recent tragedies you can bet she will make more
I have a feeling she wont put unreleased songs in the app and it'll be another one of the betrayals. But you know it would be very nice, not counting on it though. I wonder if the app is a visual experience to the album or like a game.

Didn't she say it would be like a multi-media sort of app? I know that she said she'd put extra music on there, in addition to the album initially, and I think there's a lot more going into it. Maybe like a visual experience like you suggested.

Yeah and I remember the idea of a video anthology with all of the songs having videos. (think B-day, by Beyonce). That would be cool, I wonder if it's going to be interactive and stuff. I like the idea of it being a multimedia app. Because if she's doing what I think she's doing with apple then the App could be a great selling point, especially for Gaga fans.
