I think that news about the show I is taking so long because it wasn't renewed and Murphy had fox keep quiet until something else picks up season 2. In sure it will be back in some way.
Renewal most likely won't be announced until upfronts in May.
After rewatching the full season, I really wish they had paid more attention to the plot. The writing on the shows excels with the dialogue and humor, which ultimately carries it, but the callous plot holes and lack of character development is the issue. I hated how Chanel kept having these moments of redemption only to revert back to herself. While I love Chanel regardless and am glad she stayed true to herself, it just made for a bunch of pointless scenes. And Grace and Zayday ending up so pointless makes their scenes so unwatchable.
Like I said tho, the humor still holds up and gives it so much rewatch ability. The problem is, Ryan made it very clear you can't really hold stake in anything the characters do or say because they're so inconsistent. I'm essentially only watching for the scenes with the Chanels (and Denise). Which is why I feel a season two without them is pointless.
