DSP Media has revealed plans of recruiting two new members in a bid to continue promoting KARA as five members.
On January 29th, DSP Media revealed that they are planning to recruit two new members for the group in time for their comeback late this year. According to an official, the remaining members, Gyuri, Seungyeon and Hara will focus on individual activities while as the agency prepares and trains the new talents, hinting that the two members will probably be trainees from their agency.
A press release detailing the confirmation will be released once ready.
Meanwhile, former member Nicole withdrew from the group after contract expired last January 16th and is revealed to be preparing for a solo career in New York. Meanwhile, Jiyoung is scheduled to leave the group once hercontract expires this April, citing her plans to pursue her studies abroad.
KARA’s Gyuri, Seungyeon and Hara have all renewed their contracts with the agency.
