I think Gaga knows what shes doing, I dont think she ever did any songs she didnt want to. Whether it was mainstream pop, total rock, country etc. I feel like shes very in charge of her music and knows how she wants it to sound. She wrote/recorded Just Dance and Poker face exactly like she wanted it, not because it sounded the most radio friendly. I think the next album will still be pop, but take influences from different genres as well.
