Voguing was already hugely popular in the NYC gay club scene so even if she wanted to take credit for it, she couldnt. She has always talked about how that song is dedicated to the gays. Deeper and Deeper, which samples Vogue, is also dedicated to the gays. It is about a boy discovering his sexuality/realizing he is gay.
He was also talentless, lip syncing puppet with a diseased brain. 
The VILEST and most overrated pop star in history, people who like him are probably partly disturbed too, liking someone who abused young boys and then bribed their parents to keep it quiet?
