Does that surprise you? Without You (feat. Usher) is the most apparent rip-off I've seen all year. Not only does it sound exactly like With or Without You by U2, but the title and content is a dumbed-down version of the original, too. Oh, except they threw in a bit of Clocks in the last 15 seconds.
Not to mention Guetta has blatantly pilfered from artists like Coldplay--in particular Clocks--in the past as well.
His song, Titanium, also sounds like Coldplay.
I agree about Without You aswell, although I think that was actually intentional (hence why they have the same title).
David Guetta isn't that bad for sampling and ripping-off though. It was worse back in the urban days when Timbaland, will.i.am, The Neptunes, Scott Storch, Dr. Dre, etc. were the big producers. One of Fergie's songs sampled 7 different songs.
3. Rack City
4. Turn Me On
21. Dance
56. Super Bass
104. Fly
124. Love On Top
125. Crazy In Love
160. Super Bass
171. Dance For You
173. Rack City
176. Countdown
190. Far Away
Well as long as we're discussing David Guetta being a rip-off we might as well discuss a certain artist in the Top 3 who is the king of ripping off other people's songs and giving them no credit.

There better be a reason why no one attacked this song for stealing from Clocks. I hope he had permission or something.
Oh, and sampling songs is an entirely different ordeal.

Seriously Flo Rida should at least say thanks to Etta James.. She is the reason why I like so much Good Feeling
I used to really like his singles. Low was such a great song, In the Ayer was catchy, Roll was catchy as well, Elevator was stupid but satisfying.
Then Right Round came. My favorite Flo song, & easily the most irresistible. Sugar was... sweet but burned out quickly. Be On You was a nice change of pace. Touch Me is an underrated album track & should've been a single. Jump is trash.
Then Club Can't Handle Me came. Was very disappointed, it is a mediocre version of all his biggest hits.
The rest of the album CCHM came from was beyond awful. Who Dat Girl is atrocious.
Listened to Good Feeling, & turned down the volume. He needs to progress himself, instead of playing the same safe formula.
But when was the last time he had a legit hit without sampling or featuring uncredited vocals (without which the song would have flopped)?
In the UK, he got to #1 with Club Can't Handle Me, which I think didn't have uncredited vocals in.
There's nothing wrong with sampling though imo. It's a big part of dance and hip hop music.
About When Love Takes Over and Clocks, it's clearly a legal sample. Kelly Rowland sometimes performs a mash-up of Clocks and When Love Takes Over live, so they're not trying to hide it:
And about Flo Rida and Avicii, why would Flo Rida have to credit Avicii, if Avicii doesn't credit Etta James? I'm not really bothered either way what they do, but it just seems like a double-standard to expect Flo Rida to do it, but not Avicii.

I loved him during Mail on Sunday, because his singles were catchy, club-friendly, and at least somewhat creative.
I didn't like the way Flo used the sample of "You Spin Me Round" in "Right Round". It seemed boring and uncreative. That's when I began not to like him.
Then he did it again with "Sugar". (Seriously, when I first heard the song, I didn't know the Eiffel 65, I thought it was a sample of "Disturbia" ) Then again with "Club Can't Handle Me", not crediting the lead vocalist, then the mess "Who's That Girl", and now this. Plus all of his songs sound completely the same.

R.O.O.T.S. was my favorite era. I almost bought that album.
The vocals on the chorus I'm pretty sure weren't Flo Rida's.
Yeah, I'm not sure lol. It sounds like a woman, but they could've changed Flo Rida's voice maybe. I dunno.
And it's funny what you said about Sugar and Disturbia, since I remember when Disturbia came out, a lot of people say it ripped off Blue by Eiffel 65 too.
The original song was MASSIVE where I grew up when I was a kid. It's one of the best-selling songs of all-time in my country I think, so I recognized the sample in Sugar straight-away.
