A friend who works for one of the European iTunes headquarters once told me they decide themselves who gets a banner and who doesn't. They base their decision on what they think will sell well because obviously they're interested in selling much, too. Maybe they put one up tomorrow if 'You're Mine (Eternal)' does well today. If not Mariah better make them regret it

Major label buys add on iTunes all the time.

Explain BEYONCÉ add on iTunes. Did iTunes just shut their entire store for one artist?

Well, that's what she told me. I have no reason not to believe her. But it may totally be different in the US, though.

And the example of BEYONCÉ doesn't really count because as this album was an iTunes exclusive at first they wanted it to totally smash, too.
