Is Oricon (Japan's main chart) eligible to qualify towards this countdown? I'm not trying to dispute anything I'm just wondering. Ayumi Hamasaki has 38 #1 singles on that chart so I was just curious.
You can view charts from 2005-Present on the Oricon site. However I don't think it would be of much use to you as very rarely do Western artists make the chart let alone top it.
