I agree. My most recent album was from 2013, but all these albums had to start out sometime and some people had to really like them to begin with to keep the momentum going, you know?
If a recent album really clicks with you, why not put it? I mean, even to use Born to Die as an example, it was trashed when it came out, but it was really good and quickly caught on with people, now, two years later, I don't think anyone would have a big problem with it being on a best albums of modern music list.
