I never see extreme close ups or 1 panel per page tactic on OP just to fill the page though. During the fights the background is always detailed, now in Unohana vs Kenpachi the background is plain white bond paper.

The only good background is the release of Minazuki but then the bankai flopped

How are the manga sales and TV ratings for Fairy Tail? I know One Piece slays in both fields, Naruto's anime is kinda flopping from what I've heard but the manga is still strong, right?

3. Fairy Tail (demog share 1.2-2.9)

Bleach before cancelled is between 1.1-1.9

is One Piece that good? I never had an urge to watch it or anything. It seemed corny based on the animation and i saw like one episode on Adult Swim like 7 years ago.

It's my favorite anime/manga of all time but you need patience to catch up because it's incredibly long. It's not childish and corny too because there are plenty of arcs discussing adult themes like racism, slavery, etc,, and you'd be surprised at some scenes.

You need to watch it in Japanese with Eng sub because dubbers butchered it. By the time you've watched around 50-60 eps I can assure you you'll be hooked You need to skip the fillers though except the G7 arc which is incredible!

One Piece slays I sort of refuse to get into One Piece for a few reasons.

1) The artwork for it is not my taste.
2) I have no fraking time to read w/e chapters and w/e episodes of animes.

I know, the topics that are discussed in OP are impeccable, they managed to put all the topics that other animes are scared to put like slavery,racism,etc. without being one dimensional and cheesy. I also love the touch of mythology and religion.

Fairy Tail is still blooming tho its really exciting

I think mostly because when the last episode was aired, the story is only 3 chapters behind the manga But I won't be surprised if low ratings is one of the factors.

It's not animators faulth tbh. Since there is one panel per page, making a full episode must take 10 chapters or something of the manga.
