After a couple listens, I prefer the back half to the first by a lot.
There aren't as many tracks that pop out and grab you right away so I feel like it's going to take some time to completely warm up to. Right now, I think I'd place is somewhere mid discography.
Amnesiac > OKC > The Bends > Kid A > In Rainbows > King of Limbs > A Moon Shaped Pool > Hail To The Thief > Pablo Honey

Uhm, just finished one listen and it seems a little boring...? Although it could just have to do with the fact that so many songs are down tempo. This is probably an album that takes time and will be more enjoyable when each detail of every song is memorized through repeated listens a la Kid A. That's how Kid A was for me, anyway.
We'll see, though. I definitely hope it grows on me considering I prefer Spectre to most of the album as it stands....
I was expecting something more upbeat and hook-heavy, especially after Burn the Witch... Daydreaming remains one of my faves tho.

Burn the Witch was kinda misleading as the lead single, but it still fits the album really well. And saying that AMSP is boring is just wrong Maybe it's not as hard hitting as some of their previous, but it's certainly not boring.
okay FINALLY listening to this... so far on first listen I LOVED ful stop and glass eyes, and daydreaming slayed me the other day too. I'm really enjoying it
