Nah! I legit believe they had a very limited option.
They couldn't asked anyone from BB16 & 17 because they're still under contract, unless you're the half brother of a popstar who can buy your contract out.
They probably hoped to get somebody from BB8-15 but were most likely deny, in hopes they would earn a spot in All-Stars 2, so they best bet was to asked someone who already Play BB twice hence getting somebody who played All Stars already.
Looking at the BB7 cast all the Hgs are in their Late 30's to 50's. They have responsibilities, Spouse, Kids, Jobs while Jace on the other had has nothing but a truck he lives in & sells burritos out of
He was probably they're only shot at getting a BBUS Alumni.
