The beauty standard is something cultural that has been built for centuries and still lives to this day, I never in my life heard that people idealize their partners to look something like themselves, that's just creepy and is mostly common in the US. me coming from a biracial family and being in a interracial relationship myself just makes me think that is totally illogical.

This has very little to do with beauty standards and I don't think you grasp anything from my post. As someone who is in an interracial relationship as well, this is not a foreign topic to me nor am I in the dark about dating other races.

That's interesting because I get accused of being latino all the time but have never been turned down when they realize I'm not latino. I guess I've just been lucky and I end up not being that interested in those types of guys for some reason. I'm not attracted to guys who only go for one race even if the race is black.

I've had guys get angry with me because I will turn down guys who act like they are doing me a favor. Yeah, it doesn't work that way for me.
