I'm merely asking questions and trying to give Bernie the benefit of the doubt.
I did not know, however, that information was actually saved to the Bernie campaign account.

Doubt it. If When Hillary gets the nomination, Bernie is likely to campaign for her. He's said multiple times that he doesn't want a Republican to get the presidential seat. He's even said that Hillary and him have disagreements, but she'd make a MUCH better president than any Republican candidate. Bernie isn't stupid, which is why I do respect him. I'm sure he's fully aware that he has pumped up young voters and that they're a tad insane and politically illiterate (not using this as shade). He knows younger voters aren't as fully aware of the game of politics and the importance of voting, so he'll probably campaign for them to vote for Hillary when she gets the nomination.

Maybe I haven't been listening to American people well enough, but is there a chance in hell that a GOP wins the presidency? Don't they need to get the centrist vote? In the process all of the GOP candidates are just going to backtrack and be scrutinised for it.

I just don't want to give it to him because I think he's been given enough in this election that he doesn't necessarily deserve.

It's complicated. All of the GOP candidates that could maybe hurt Hillary in a general election aren't popular. Why? Trump's radicalism has been successful so a few others started following suit. So, now you have three extremes (Trump, Cruz, and Carson) along with Rubio being the successful candidates. Then it drops massively in poll success.
Out of those four, Rubio would be the most dangerous, but he's third in the polls. If Trump gets the nomination, he won't stand a chance in hell against Hillary. He'd stand more of a chance against Bernie, but Trump is such a polarized character, that you either hate or love him. With the majority being hate.
All in all, the GOP likely won't win this because they aren't appealing to moderates and more moderate Republicans. The only threatening one is Rubio, then it would be Cruz, then Carson, then a dog with a GOP t-shirt, and then Trump.

It depends on who the nominee is, but it will be an uphill battle. They'll bactrack, but I personally don't think it will be enough. Plus, the party is too fractured to come in strong for the general.

Why do you underestimate Bernie so much. If he gets the nomination he's going to get 10x the name brand recognition and respect, all eyes will be on him, and his platform will be bigger to spread his message. He would crush Trump in debates. And democrat candidates always get big endorsements. I can't think of a reason why Hillary wouldn't endorse him if he got the nom?

How big is the far right that Ben or Trump could win off of their backs?

I'm not underestimating him. Bernie is a LOT more liberal than Hillary and that decreases his chance to appeal to moderate voters. Further, it would be easy for the GOP nominee to paint him as a crazy communist due to his self-identifying as a "democratic" socialist. Also, Bernie isn't as polished in debates as Hillary.

fyi there have been multiple polls that show bernie winning when paired up against republican candidates (whereas hillary isn't as strong against them), so this electability bs has to stop

Actually, almost all recent polls show Hillary doing about the same or better in all general match ups.

Those polls aren't best to predict the reality, though. That goes for Hillary and/or Bernie. The two nominees will be fighting to appeal to moderate voters, and that is hard to predict with neither going head to head and focusing on one another. Also, Bernie has an advantage in that not a single GOP candidate has considered him threat enough to speak that much against him. They're terrified of Hillary and always bring her up and speak against her.

hmmm. I guess it's just hard for me to picture because I don't get crazy or scary from Bernie. Could the American public be fooled so easily? I hope not

Hillary and Trump have similar unfavorables and inspire just as much hatred the other (only diff is Trump says bad things on a weekly basis, Hillary is generally vile).
And a race between the 2 would be a lot closer than what ATRL would have you think
Most polls actually have Bernie being harder to beat when matched up w.the GOP candidates.

He gets flustered in debates, sometimes, and his tendency to yell would be easy to use against him. Further, the US has a fear of anything socialist/communist, especially older voters (younger voters not so much). The GOP would easily paint him to be a communist as they have tried with any other DNC candidate, except this time Bernie is a self-proclaimed "Democratic" socialist (which is isn't much different from socialist, honestly). He'll struggle more against the GOP than Hillary will because she's used to it and is a lot more polished.

Sanders maybe an alright guy but his supporters are insufferable. It's almost sickening.

I didn't think Bernie would stoop so low. I honestly thought he was a man of integrity.
