The record is 16 weeks at #1. No matter consecutive or not.
I confused myself. It is 14!
Funk" also ties for the longest stay at No. 1 on the Hot 100 this century. With 14 weeks on top, it matches the Black Eyed Peas' command with "I Gotta Feeling," the last song to lead for at least that long, in 2009. Mariah Carey also logged 14 weeks at No. 1 with "We Belong Together" in 2005. http://www.billboard.com/articles/co...100-number-one

So 7 more and then 1 to smash it. Can she do it!?
Yeah it is 14 for this century. Key word there...
Overall record is 16
Great and I hope she can achieve that! I just also hope that one week in between her reign, Justin can get a week on top too. Is that really so bad?
Justin is already so lucky to even have as much success as he's had this era. I respect him for really investing himself into his career but he still comes across very arrogant and ungrateful and for that, he deserves to be behind Adele. Her album is 100000x better anyway.

Lol this thread is about the charts, please take your personal opinions about Justin's personality somewhere else. Based on how big the song in terms of both sales and streaming, yes it deserves at least one week at #1.

So, what do you say? 3 more weeks atop for her? Just enough to reach 10.
While I'm not a fan of Justin in the least bit, his music has actually been semi-good this era. He has done excellent promo, too, so if he does snatch the top spot from Adele, I would say he deserves it.
I don't want it to happen, but if it does, I won't be mad.

Not #11 for ITN I'm happy for it tho, already top 20 this week
How's WDYM still top 5 when it's free-falling on radio and not top 10 in sales?
Anywa, it seems that Hello may not snatch 10 weeks atop
It's not dropping THAT hard on radio. Sales could mean anything since they have less than 20% of influence currently. It's still pulling huge Streaming numbers (16M+).

Ger-55 you should talk with Kworb to add this flawless OP into the past threads cause I was looking for old threads and I have to go to the page 3 or 4 to find the full HOT10 or at least the TopTen
