Never knew that was the official clinical term, but I've heard of cases similar to this. The fact that she seemingly came out as trans at the same time as she "came out" as a six year old is what makes it seem like satire to me, like someone was trying to make transgendered people seem mentally ill, or like the acceptance movement of trans people is something of a slippery slope.

Yeah I mentioned that about hurting her family, but how can we assess if this person is mentally healthy? I don't consider roleplaying as a 6 year old when you're an adult to be healthy or normal.

I don't see why this person can't fabricate an identity similar but seperate to age as trans have forged an identity seperate but similar to sex. Think about what people are actually saying when they say gender is a social construct. They mean it's not real science, it's all made up.

It is real science, though.

Trans people have hormonal differences, brain differences and genetic differences from cis people; namely cis people of their sex. Environment is definitely a factor but not the only factor. Anybody claiming to be ''transage'' doesn't have these differences and it's not something they're born with either. This woman proves it with her saying: ''I just don't want to be an adult RIGHT NOW''. It was a choice for her, not a state of being.

Frankly, it's offensive to compare the two.
