Best actress is between Brie and Saoirse.
Rooney is obviously going to win for Best Supporting Actress if she gets nominated in that category.
I hope Mad Max gets a nomination it was my favorite movie of 2015.
His accent is absolutely atrocious. He sounds like he's spoofing Eddy Murphy in Norbit. The fact that he's even in the race with that is such an insult to the other actors.
Leo winning an Oscar for The Revenant would be laughable tbh, that performance is not deserving at all, but I guess the Academy will finally have to succumb to the internet's meme desire.
Awesome I'll check them both out later hopefully I like 'em

I don't even wanna watch The Revenant because I want him to win so bad. He's long overdue for a win and I'll be heartbroken if he loses again. I'll watch it later this week I guess when I muster up the attention span to do so.

Ian McKellen is more overdue than Leo though, and the Academy has two horrible mistakes to make up for when it comes to McKellen. Leo was never really the best performance of the year so far in his career, he has plenty of time left though. And when he does win, it should be for the right performance, which is definitely not for The Revenant in my opinion.
"One Kind of Love" (Love & Mercy) "Til It Happens To You" (The Hunting Ground)
"Simple Song #3" (Youth)
"See You Again" (Furious 7)
"Love Me Like You Do" (50 Shades of Grey)
Michael Fassbender deserves that Lead Actor win and no one should question it, he was great in Slow West and Macbeth too and better than Leo in each and every one of them. However I am still hoping for Michael Caine to pull through, he is better than anyone in the race. And I hope they don't nominate Will Smith for the sake of nominating a POC, he doesn't deserve to be there.
Also for the Best Picture, so far The Big Short > Spotlight. I wish Mad Max stood a realistic chance but since that seems impossible I'm rooting for The Big Short. Brad Pitt will get his second Oscar

The little scene they play at 1:43 is terrible acting from both Fassbender and Winslet IMO.

Fassbender's performances were superior this year. He's just the better actor. I'm so done with actors/actresses winning because they lost weight, got ugly or ate a giraffe for their craft.
