This. I was born in 1996 , but all my childhood memories are from the early 2000's. Kids who were born after 1993 are maybe 90's babies, but they are 00's kids.

I was born in 1997! I didn't use internet until 2006! I had a normal childhood where I played hide n seek with my friends outside! Sometimes 20 of us were playing outside. The only techology I used was TV where I watched MTV and cartoons. Then came PS2 and computer and then slowly the playtime was over and I started playing only with techology, but still I experienced my childhood without techology.

I never got why people (generally those born after 1996) are so obsessed with being "90s kids." I was born in early 94 and I would openly label myself as a 00s kid and nothing else. Like BYE at people in high school claiming they're a 90s kid and that they remember the decade. (See my sig).

Im born in 1999 and that's exactly it. I didnt start using phones tille like 2007 and internet around that time too and it got more serious in 2009-2010
