I had a crush on this boy named Andres in elementary school. We were somewhat friends (well literally our whole class was super close) but I remember how naive and carefree I was about everything at the time. So I went up to him and his close jock ass friends and said something along the lines of "I like you. Like really really like you. I dream about you all the time" (cause it was true ). The boys all laughed and mocked me for like a month, but I still didn't give a **** (at the time that is). I also mentioned something about us having sex, even though I had no ****ing idea what that was, and it spread around the school like a wildfire. They all knew me as a flaming homo anyways so I soaked up the attention. He was really nice and brushed it off, but we completely stopped talking after 5th grade. Looking back, I was such an embarrassment, and that's one of the things that traumatized me and now I'm afraid af to even go up to my crushes and start a convo.

One was in scouts with me (2 years older) and another was my friends older brother (4 years older). They were both so FINE, like I was legit obsessed with them, and they were both so cute. The oldest Chris had like, kind of a lisp? and always wore purple shirts so I thought he was at least bi-curious, and the younger Chris came from a super liberal family and had cool parents so I was like "he has to be gay, he would have super accepting parents". Both are straight as a ruler tho I used to message them daily "Hi" whenever I saw them online on Facebook (I was like 12) and I would always look for an excuse to talk to them. I used to get in fights about abortion and gay rights with the oldest Chris (he was super conservative smh), but one time he was really sweet when I told him I'd pray for his family after his baby cousin died and he hugged me and he smelled so nice , he was like skinny and a lil toned. I'm still kinda friends with the younger Chris but he doesn't really talk to me or any of my scout friends anymore (even though we were all pretty close with him) because he went to rehab when he was like 16 and now he's 19 and engaged, when Beyoncé's self-titled dropped I told him that "Beyoncé gave me the courage to say this, I'm gay" and he was supportive but god that's a super gay way to come out Looking back I'm glad neither blocked me cause I was annoying as hell.

I have a couple, but they're not messy.
First one was with this beautiful girl. This was in 6th grade and we used to always hangout together and talk on MSN and even webcam chat. It was a mess. So on the last day of school, we were both of course hanging out together and we were extremely happy and excited for summer, so she and I were kind of rebellious. She told me she has a crush on me and she really liked me, so I told her I did too and we held hands and hugged. Sadly, she had to travel to America literally the next day so I never saw her. When I started grade 7 she messaged me on FB and we chatted for a few days, and then I reminded her of what happened during last day of school and she said: "What? I don't remember that happening hahaha I never said I had a crush on you." I was like, um bitch what?
So I just kind of ignored her and never talked to her again. Last year (I'm in grade 12 now) she followed me on Instagram and added me on FB (I did a new one) but we still don't talk.

My second is with this guy I met off Twitter. So I was kind of popular on Twitter (I had a Gaga account) and he DM'ed me asking me if I live where he lives so I said yeah, and he said it's so cool. He directly gave me his phone number and we Kik'ed (his phone was ****) and he kept talking to me non-stop. I was around mid 14 years old at that time and he was 13 (a bit more than a year younger). Throughout our first year of talking he would talk to me about his problems with his family and him being a closeted gay, and I used to give him advice. I met him at Lana's Paradise tour and he hugged me and didn't let go for a good 2-3 minutes. It was so awkward because we were both waiting in front of the hotel she was staying at and people were staring.
Like 6 months after meeting him, I was 16 and he was still 14 but he told me he loved me so much and it wasn't just a crush, it was his true feelings. He went on and on for hours about how much he loved me and how much I mean to him. I was like uh... okay and I blocked him on all social media sites. I know that was a dick move guys so please don't attack me, I still feel bad about it sometimes. We had a mutual friend though, and he told my mutual friend everything so my mutual friend put himself, me and the guy in a group to make up. I never talked on the group and it was awkward as **** so that died really quickly and I never spoke to him ever since.
However, he know identities as "straight" and my old classmate now goes to his school and my classmate told me that the guy always makes fun of gays and bisexuals. Idiot.
Edit: Oh my god I also forgot, he was friends with this girl who transferred to my school and she once invited everyone from her class from both schools to her party, so my friends became friends with him. And after I blocked him, he told a couple of my close friends and they confronted me. I was like "who? I don't know that person."

I was in the 5th/6th grade and I had a huge crush on my former best friend and we were walking down the hall with a few friends after Music class and I kept hitting him on his arm with a binder and lightly pushing him then my friend Marissa blurts out "why do you keep hitting hit, are you gay" or something along those lines and I was so scared

I used to try so hard to be around someone I had a crush on. And I would try to be the center of attention, hoping they would pay attention to me. I used embarrass myself a lot.

I'll have an embarrassing date by the end of this week (mostly due to how awkward I am), I'll keep you updated.
My first date is going to be such a kii, I can't wait to ruin my chances with this amazing guy.

Oh! When I was younger, I went to some whack ass private school and there was this really athletic soccer guy or something who had the WORST lisp in history, but he was wanted by all the girls or whatever. I hated him because I was jealous that he got all the girls - so we didn't talk at all. Anyway, I remember walking into Spanish class and he was looking at me with some of his friends and blowing kisses at me. It was the weirdest thing. So one of my dumbass friends told me to do it back and I did. Because I was a dumbass. And my other friend was all "dude, no, don't do that". By the time I did the guy who originated the kisses, perked up and started asking if I really meant it all concerned like..my teacher stepped in and moved his seat toward her.
A few days later we went on a field trip and he purposefully rested his head on my shoulder and fell asleep. I kept looking at my friend for help/prayer and he thought it was the most hilarious thing.
I was very disgusted because I definitely didn't like him like that (he's good looking now tho) and I was 100% straight because I was 100% determined to marry Britney Spears.

I had a HUGE crush on this kid in my drama class my freshman year of high school. He was a senior, so I felt like I didn't really have a chance. But I joined the after school drama club just to spend more time with him Anyway, we both auditioned for the school play and got parts (he was the lead!) so we ended up spending a lot of time together that year. I could tell he was gay, but he wasn't out and he always talked about liking girls
Opening night of the play rolled around. By this point I had NOTEBOOKS full of poems I wrote for him, and Mariah lyrics dedicated to him, and drawings of us together (in bed) and everything. Since it was the night of the play I decided to be ~brave~ and tell him I liked him since I was afraid I'd never see him again. So before the play started, I took him aside backstage and told him that I liked him. He told me to meet him downstairs in the costume room during intermission.
I was so afraid because I hadn't kissed a boy yet and thought it was gonna happen So I went down into the costume room during intermission and waited mad long, but he never came. When I heard people yelling and going back upstairs, I knew Act 2 was going to start so I went upstairs too. I found my crush backstage, getting ready to go on. So I went to him like, "Hey, I waited for you and didn't come." And he was like, "Why did you do that? Did you realistically think I was going to meet you there? " He and his friends started laughing (so I knew he told them about it) and I was SO embarrassed. I ran into this little hallway backstage and cried. I had to come out in the next scene, so I had to quickly stop crying so I could go out and act.

Wow, this is heartbreaking!
Maybe he wasn't actually gay like you thought?

I was in Lanzarote (Canary Islands) and this guy I had a flirt with came visit from the island nearby. My mom, who loves trolling people, started talking to him and they ended up talking about British tourists. My mom talked **** about the Brits for like half an hour, and then, she said to him: "You look very British!" I was like
