All this song has is AMERICAN references, a speech from an AMERICAN in the riff. This song literally repeats the same thing over and over again. There's nothing to take away from it that is THAT relatable to people in ANOTHER country, especially as a radio single, that would make it smash. The quality just isn't there. I'm not speaking on your behalf, or any other fans behalf, but that's the way it works on radio and I'm sure that's their thought too. Someone who is not a Rihanna fan isn't going to stan for this. And if there's anything to take away from AO, it's very few lyrical points that have meaning.
