Your problem doesn't seem to be with Iggy either though. It's urban radio that chose to play her singles this year, it's the hip-hop publications posting news and articles about her daily, it's BET and Soul Train nominating her, it's the AMAs and Grammys also putting her in rap categories (as they should), etc... be mad at them I guess.

1. Not a big deal about me not knowing about her at all. It's not like she's culture or belongs in some college subject for me to learn. I just know what's important, her trying to pretend something she isn't and white people painting her as the savior of a genre she can't even be good at.
2. My problem is with her and her accent. Her talking about being the realist or being a slave master. Her racist tweets and then not even caring to apologize, just a "sorry if you were offended".
3. Grammys giving her a rap nomination when Charli clearly stated she's a pop artist faking it.

1. You seem to be invested in her quite a lot by looking at your ATRL activity though, including your presence in this thread which is mainly about Iggy, so you'd understand my confusion.
2. Boo hoo. She's an artist, she can rap the way she feels like doing it. Again, you seem to be more bothered over the fact that lots of other people label, appreciate and consume her material.
3. You're having interpretation issues once again.

1. I don't care about Iggy, I'm concerned about what she's trying to represent, hence why I've been involved in lots of threads about her and the race issues. You won't see me in any other thread about her music or the stupid stuff she does.
2. She isn't a rapper, others write her raps for her. She's a pop star, a pop "icon".

1. Fancy is a pop song with rap elements, and the only reason she has another artist singing the hook is because the girl can't sing to save her life.
2. the fact that Nicki can carry a song without a featured artist singing her hook (hence PnP/Grand Piano/Save Me/Your Love, etc.) says a lot about her as an artist, because even though she isn't the best singer, she tries her best.
I love both Charli & Iggy, but her statement was completely out of place.

And if you're concerned about Iggy in a way it means you definitely care but I'm not going around in circles with you anymore so stay concerned.
